Before Joan graduated from the Orlando Institute for Electrology in 2006, she worked in the cosmetology industry for 25 years as a salon owner and nail technician.
She went on to advance her education in medical esthetics as an esthetician and a certified clinical electrologist. Furthering her education, she went on to laser and light-based training, becoming a Certified Medical Electrologist through The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal, Inc. (SCMHR).
